How it works

Search → Reserve → Pay → Manage DNS → Connect

Five steps take you from an available name to an identity that resolves to your services. Search happens here; the rest happens in your dashboard.

1

Search

Type a name and we check it against live inventory. You will see one of a few results: available with its price, premium (priced individually), taken or reserved, or a validation hint if the name is not allowed. Each name is priced on its own by how short and memorable it is — most fall between $79 and $199 a year, and the figure you see is what you pay.

2

Reserve

Sign in and the name is held for you on a short lock while you check out — with a visible countdown so you know how long you have. No one else can take it during that window. If the timer runs out before you pay, the name simply returns to the pool; you are never charged for a lapsed hold.

3

Pay

Pay through secure checkout — one year, or several up front for a discount of up to 50%. The name becomes yours on payment, then auto-renews yearly at a price that's locked in, with no one-time or setup fees. If a future renewal ever fails you get grace and redemption windows before the name is at risk — details on the Trust page. See full pricing.

4

Manage DNS

From the dashboard, add subdomains under your identity and point them wherever you like. You work in plain labels — @, www, api — and we expand them to the full name for you.

DNS · john.lab.ai
www CNAME yourhost.example.com
api A 203.0.113.10
@ TXT "v=spf1 include:mail-provider ~all"
mail MX 10 mx.mail-provider.com

Supported record types: A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT and MX. MX records may go through a brief review before they apply.

5

Connect

Point your identity at the services you already use — a website host, an app platform, a landing-page builder, an email provider. We give you the DNS values to paste into each service. We do not host your site, run your email, or issue SSL certificates; those are handled by the host or CDN you connect to, and most issue certificates for your name automatically.
